This means that we perform and arrange for the latest modalities and testing to evaluate your foot and ankle problems and treat them accordingly. In addition to providing compassionate care at affordable rates, we also accept most insurance plans as well as providing financing if needed. We also have compassion for those patients that are housebound and unable to come to the office by doing housecalls when they are needed. Dr. Randy Semma

Dr. Randy Semma is a native of West Bloomfield Michigan. After graduating from West Bloomfield High School, Dr. Semma went to Wayne State University where he graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After, he attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, and graduated in 2011. After his graduation from medical school he moved to Florida where he did a three-year surgical residency program in foot and ankle reconstruction at the Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, just outside Miami. Dr. Semma received extensive training in trauma, diabetic foot conditions, and rheumatoid foot problems. This is where he met his future wife, Dr. Michele Bertelle-Semma. Dr. Semma moved back to the Detroit area with his wife and two children in 2015 where he teamed up with Dr. Bernstein at Sore Feet Podiatry and Nationwide Foot and Ankle Care. Besides providing expert services in the offices, Dr. Semma is also on-call at the emergency room at Beaumont Hospital-Farmington Hills (Botsford). He is the assistant residency director of the Podiatric surgical residency program at Beaumont Farmington Hills. In addition to that Dr. Semma recently received an additional certification for foot and ankle surgery and in his spare time he enjoys all sports, spending time with his children, and traveling.

Dr. Michele Bertelle-Semma

Dr. Michele Bertelle-Semma is a native of Staten Island, New York, where she attended SUNY College and graduated in 2003. She moved to Florida in 2004 and attended the Barry University Podiatry School in Miami, Florida. After graduation, she got excepted to the Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Surgery Residency Program in the Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida, just outside Miami. This is where she met her husband and was married in 2013. They have two children, Liam 5 years old and Sophia, 3 years old. Dr. Bertelle-Semma is also working towards her Board Certification. Dr. Semma is also on-call at the emergency room at Beaumont Hospital-Farmington Hills (Botsford). Dr. Semma has a special interest in diabetic wound care and limb salvage . In her spare time (which is rather small after taking care of two young children), she loves fashion, pilates, and watching movies.

Dr. Stacey A. Stefansky

Dr. Stacey A. Stefansky was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, earning a bachelor of science majoring in human physiology. Continuing on with her education, she completed her podiatric training at The New York College of Podiatric Medicine and moved on to complete a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Harvard affiliated, Beth Israel Deaconess medical center. In her 14 years of practice, she has developed an interest in diabetic care and limb salvage as well as a focus primary podiatric medicine, preventative care and surgery.
Dr. Stefansky is a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle surgeons, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Michigan Podiatric Medical Association and is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery. Dr. Stefansky is the current Chief of Podiatry at Providence-Providence Park Hospital and the Director of the Providence-Providence Park Pediatric Surgical Residency Program.
